Pulmonary Tuberculosis Screening
On Oct 10th, 2025, the autumn sun shone through the window into the classrooms. Medical staff from the city CDC entered each classroom of Grade 10 in our school to conduct tuberculosis screening for students. Each class teacher made meticulous preparations in advance, meticulously implementing the arrangements for personnel and the smooth flow of procedures, ensuring that the screening was carried out in a standardized and orderly manner.
To start with, on that day, each classroom in the tenth grade was temporarily transformed into a 'health screening station'. The medical staff, dressed in neat white work uniforms, wore blue medical caps and masks to protect their mouths and noses, carrying professional medical equipment and supplies to the classrooms, who opened the cardboard box labeled 'Single-use Sterile Syringes', carefully checked and assembled the screening equipment (as shown in the scene where medical staff were concentrating on organizing medical supplies). From the preparatory work to the tuberculin test, every step was meticulous and precise, fully demonstrating professionalism and responsibility.
Furthermore, during the screening, under the guidance of the head teachers, students cooperated in an orderly manner in their respective Classes, many of whom, although a little nervous, still bravely extended their arms. Accordingly, the medical staff operated gently and used soft voices to comfort students, gradually easing the tense atmosphere at the scene. Moreover, after the screening was completed, all the students showed relieved smiles on their faces. It was obvious that after experiencing the gentle attitude of the medical staff and the continuous encouragement and support from the head teachers, their previous concerns about the screening had completely vanished. On the other hand, each class's head teacher remained in the classrooms throughout the process, who not only prepared in advance for personnel organization and venue coordination, but also provided on-site explanations and emotional comfort, serving as a reassuring presence for the screening work. Evidently, teachers and students worked in perfect harmony, ensuring that the entire process was busy yet orderly and well-managed.
On the whole, tuberculosis screening is a crucial part of campus public health protection, which helps our school identify potential tuberculosis infection risks at an early stage, thus enabling 'early detection and early intervention'. Additionally, our school has always prioritized the health of teachers and students. Thus, this screening has further strengthened the campus health defense line, creating a safe and healthy learning environment for students and helping them study with peace of mind and grow happily.
